When is the last time you saw a good fight right in front of your face? I’m not talking about some high school locker room dust up; I’m talking about seeing a pair of grown men with hatred in their eyes and power behind their punches slugging away at one another. Chances are you haven’t been privy to a vulgar display of power since 1992 (unless you frequent bars where Pantera is a jukebox staple, in which case fist fights are probably rather boring by now). It’s high time you vicariously work out your aggressions in a healthy manner: By paying grown men to beat one another for your enjoyment. Rather than handing a couple of strangers a few bucks and trying to coax them to fight, why not take that cash and check out a night of All Star Boxing? Edgar Santana will square off against Carlos De Lopez and James McGuirt (no relation to Dirt McGirt) will face Carlos De Leon (along with seven other bouts) this Friday at 8 p.m. at Miccosukee Resort & Gaming (500 SW 177th Ave., Miami). Tickets start at $20. Call 877-242-6464, or visit www.ticketmaster.com.
