Audrey Tautou brings the charm in Priceless.
Published on April 17, 2008
French chicks are cute. Maybe its the accent. Maybe its a certain je ne sais quoi, an intermingling of charming worldliness, quirky joie de vivre, and a seemingly wry acceptance of human imperfection. Whatever. Theyre cute. And Audrey Tautou is one of the cutest. Best known in the U.S. for the surprise hit Amélie, Tautous most recent film is the romantic comedy Priceless. Tautou plays a sugar baby tangled in a kooky mix-up while trolling for daddies on the Riviera. Think Breakfast at Tiffanys a la mode. Its got chick flick written all over it a French romantic comedy, for Pierres sake but shes so damn cute, even the toughest guys will be charmed. Add in Sunrise Cinemas worlds best popcorn, and voila! its date night. Directed by Pierre Salvadori, Priceless opens tonight at Sunrise Cinemas Eleven (4321 NW 88th Ave., Sunrise).
