Alex Heria: Photographic Works 2000-2008 is open today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood (1650 Harrison St., Hollywood). The exhibits main showpiece is an enormous blue sky exploding with sunrays and billowing cumulous clouds; the photo looks like a billboard for Heaven. Also on display are Herias photographs of landscapes and objects in nature, which, by dint of double exposure, come out looking like impressionist paintings or mellow LSD hallucinations.
