Lake Worth’s hottest date spot just got hotter with the addition of the Next Level. Bizaare has indeed grown up -– the new second story, which has the feel of a typical New Orleans supper club -- has a separate kitchen, a more luxe atmosphere, a piano, a full liquor bar, a Saturday-evening jazz singer, and a menu that moves beyond the wraps and pizzas served downstairs. Brick walls and mellow tones, curtained alcoves, and the same group of astonishingly pretty servers make this a place you’ll want to hang in. The food, alas, could use a dose of inspiration -– dishes that sound great, like a duck spring roll, a crispy crab cake, or a green tomato napoleon, repeat the same flavor notes and never quite distinguish themselves. Still, a beautiful spot, romantic and atmospheric, well worth a visit.
