Upscale and delicious “American Classics” in the nicest non-Jersey diner you’ve ever mopped up your sauce in. Meatloaf with red wine gravy, spaghetti with chicken meatballs, crumb-crusted chicken “Milano,” veal cutlet with San Marzano tomato sauce, pot roast with demi-glace wine sauce all bear some resemblance to the comfort food you love, but they taste even better in this deluxe bistro setting with a Wine Spectator award-winning list. Portions are huge, and prices are reasonable. Take advantage of the daily offering of chicken clay casseroles, from fried chicken through coq au vin and chicken pot pie (all $16.95). The doggy bags you’ll tote home from Henry’s are part of its appeal -- you can practically hear these entrées chanting, in their slurpy, sauce-muffled voices, Reheat me!
